If you do not wish to choose from our fantastic customary menus, we can provide you with an excellent range of alternatives to make your event personal. From an intimate 3 course meal for a small private party to a buffet for a large party we are more than willing to make your occasion extra special. The bar is where your journey begins. When you first enter the Golden Boar you will be welcomed at the beautiful hand built bar by one of our hospitable staff. You will instantly be attracted to the bar's charisma and charm that is created by the surrounding timber frames and open fire places. The lounge area in the bar is the ideal place to meet and socialise with friends as well as to relax before and after your meal. At the bar we offer a wide range of drinks from lager to pink champagne. There are four traditional hand pumps serving an excellent selection of the finest real ales which are kept to the highest standard whilst we also have a fantastic range of wines and champagne from both the new and old world
